PSSW 2010 Pastel Workshops and Demonstrations
March 2010 Demonstration with Kay Polk
Kay Polk will conduct a demonstration at our March 14th meeting. Kay is an award winning portrait artist with more than thirty years of experience in portraiture and fine art. Nationally known for her charming portraits of children and signature art style in the mediums of oil, pastel and charcoal, her professional accomplishments include achieving signature status in the Knickerbocker Artists NY, The Pastel Society of America NY, and The American Portrait Society. Kay is also a past president of the PSSW. Currently she is Chairman of the Mentoring Program for the Portrait Society of America through their Cecilia Beaux Forum--a new program that pairs applicants with mentors for a year of working together toward reaching the professional goals of the mentoree. It is a wonderful program with lots of success stories.

November 2010 Workshop with Kathleen Cook
Kathleen Cook, PSA, will be judge and juror and conduct a workshop for our annual Membership Show in November 2010. Her workshop will be held November 11-13, followed by a demonstration at our November 14th meeting. Please email Robbie George (georger@ctesc.net) for more information.
